Our church offers Sunday worship, instruction, fellowship, and ministry opportunities for Christian service. We’re a friendly church where Jesus is Lord and people are loved.
9:30 am: A dynamic Sunday School program for all ages – Pre-school through Adult classes.
10:45 am: Sunday Worship service, with Creative Corner for children during church after the “children’s chat”
10 am Sunday worship: no Sunday School June-Sep, but Vacation Bible School in August!
The children are offered worship via our “Children’s Chat” which is a Bible-based object lesson. One Sunday per month, each Sunday School class offers a presentation, in place of the Children’s Chat, for the congregation, based on scripture they have memorized which is theme based for the year.
After the lesson, children of preschool age through third grade are escorted upstairs by our CORI’d adult and teen volunteers to “Creative Corner” – a large all-purpose room where children engage in a snack, craft, game, and/or movie for the remainder of the service. Upon the close of the service parents come to dismiss the children.
Children may also volunteer to be an Acolyte, taking turns week to week to light and extinguish the altar candles.
Children in fourth grade and older, we feel, are ready to sit through the worship service and are expected to attend service with their parents.
We observe “Open Communion.” To receive the Lord’s Supper we only ask that individuals know Christ as their Lord and Savior.
There is street parking available or lot parking the Marleah Graves School next door. Additional parking can be found at Kowalsky Insurance, 544 Lincoln Ave.
We are a handicap accessible church.
